Dr Aminu Usman, popularly known as Abu Ammar, has resigned as the Commander-General of the Katsina State Hisbah Board with immediate effect.
Usman announced his resignation in a letter dated October 5 and addressed to the Secretary to the Katsina State Government.

Although he did not disclose the reason for his decision, the former commander expressed appreciation to Governor Dikko Radda for the confidence, support and opportunity given to him during his tenure.
He also thanked the governor for his leadership and guidance, while praying for continued peace, development and prosperity in Katsina State.
The resignation takes immediate effect.
