Celtic captain Callum McGregor has praised Kelechi Iheanacho after the Nigerian striker scored a dramatic stoppage-time penalty to seal a 3-2 win over Motherwell on Wednesday night.
Iheanacho came off the bench to convert from the spot, securing all three points for Martin O’Neill’s side. It marked the third time this year that the Nigeria international has netted a decisive goal as a substitute for the Hoops, taking his tally to eight goals across all competitions.
