Miss Supranational titleholder Gift Nda has opened up about her early life, sharing a heartfelt reflection on how her upbringing shaped her resilience, values, and outlook on success.
Speaking about her childhood, Nda described growing up in Orile Iganmu as both challenging and deeply enriching. Despite limited access to basic resources, she emphasized that those circumstances played a crucial role in building her strength and determination.
“Life growing up was very exciting,” she said. “Although I lacked access to almost everything, it built my resilient spirit to always strive for the best.”
Nda painted a vivid picture of her community, highlighting the strong sense of unity that defined her formative years. According to her, Orile Iganmu was more than just a place—it was a close-knit environment where neighbors looked out for one another and children filled the streets with life.
“There was always that warmth,” she recalled. “Everyone almost felt like family. That sense of togetherness shaped my understanding of life, community, and acceptance.”
The beauty queen noted that these experiences instilled in her a deep sense of humility and gratitude—qualities she continues to carry as she navigates bigger opportunities on the global stage.
