The family of Mrs Olanike Ogundare has called for urgent assistance following her abduction by suspected kidnappers in Lagos.
The victim was reportedly taken in the early hours of Thursday from her residence in the Oke Agaye area of Ijedodo.
Eyewitnesses said armed men stormed the house around 1:00 a.m., overpowering a security guard before whisking her away to an unknown location.
In response to the incident, the family has reached out to security agencies, including the Nigeria Police Force and the Department of State Services, as efforts intensify to secure her safe return.
Sources familiar with the development disclosed that the kidnappers have contacted the family on two occasions, demanding a ransom of N60 million for her release.

The calls were reportedly made using the victim’s phone, with communication facilitated through an intermediary identified as Dapo Adeola.
Further findings indicate that the abductors have now requested that the ransom be paid in United States dollars, a move believed to complicate tracking and monitoring of the funds.
It was also gathered that the victim’s husband has already transferred N5 million to the intermediary, although it remains unclear whether the money has been delivered to the kidnappers.
Security sources say investigations are ongoing, with authorities working to trace communications and monitor financial transactions linked to the case. Efforts are also being made to guide negotiations and ensure the victim’s safe rescue.
As the situation unfolds, the family continues to appeal to the public and relevant authorities for support in securing her release.
