A waste compactor truck driver has been hospitalised after a Ford minibus crashed into the vehicle in the Abule Egun area of Baruwa, Lagos State, on Wednesday morning.
According to LASTMA, the compactor truck was parked by the roadside while workers were collecting waste when the minibus rammed into it.

The injured driver was taken to the nearest hospital for treatment, while LASTMA officers managed the resulting traffic situation.
The crash reportedly caused a traffic backlog extending to Baruwa and beyond.
