Former Manchester United midfielder Eric Djemba-Djemba says Cristiano Ronaldo could still play at the 2030 World Cup and believes Portugal should include him if he remains active.
Djemba-Djemba praised Ronaldo’s relentless drive to improve and compete, saying he has never seen a mentality like it. Speaking to BetVictor via GOAL, he said the Portugal captain’s ambition could see him feature in the tournament hosted by Portugal, Spain, and Morocco.
“It would be the ideal conclusion,” he said, backing Ronaldo’s plan to continue playing until 2030. “If he is still active when the 2030 World Cup takes place in Portugal, I firmly believe he should be included in the team.”

And just think if Cristiano Jr. is also present. That would be extraordinary.”
