
A clash between youths and security agencies in Emede community, Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State, has led to the destruction of properties and the imposition of a curfew.
The Chairman of Isoko South LGA, Hon. Warri Ovoke Friday, visited the affected areas alongside the traditional ruler of the kingdom, His Royal Majesty Johnson Egbo, Ewhiri II, to assess the situation and meet with community leaders.

Following the visit, the chairman imposed a dusk-to-dawn curfew in Emede town, restricting movement of humans and vehicles between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM. He urged residents to remain calm and assured them of the government’s commitment to restoring lasting peace.
Hon. Warri Ovoke Friday stated that Emede remains calm and peaceful after the intervention, with authorities closely monitoring the situation.
