Troops of the Nigerian Army rescued two gunshot victims and thwarted an abduction attempt in Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State on Saturday night.
Soldiers from Sector 7 under Operation Enduring Peace responded to a distress call at about 9:30 p.m. on April 26 along the Kurmin Goro axis.
On reaching the scene, the troops made contact with armed suspects. The suspects abandoned their mission and fled into nearby terrain as the military advanced.
