The Association of Professional Bodies of Nigeria (APBN) has held its 42nd Annual General Assembly at the National Engineering Centre, Abuja.
The AGA, which brought together representatives and prominent members of various professional bodies across the country, also witnessed the election of the association’s new leadership.
Among those elected are Prof. Muhammad Akaro Mainoma, mni, who emerged as the new President of the association and Engr. Babatunde Adeyemi Odunlami, FNSE, Director of Professional Development at the Nigerian Society of Engineers, who emerged as Assistant Secretary General of the APBN.

The assembly was attended by the President of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Engr. Ali Alimasuya Rabiu, FNSE, F.ASCE, FAEng, MFR and other senior members of the Society.
The gathering provided an opportunity for professional bodies to deliberate on issues affecting the professional community and the contribution of professionals to Nigeria’s development.
