Tension has gripped
the Kubwa axis of Abuja after the lifeless body of a woman was discovered along the Kubwa expressway, triggering a full-scale investigation by the Federal Capital Territory Police Command.
The victim, whose identity was traced through items recovered at the scene, was found with her bag lying a few metres away. Inside were her identity card and personal belongings, suggesting she may have worked with the FCT High Court.
The discovery has raised questions about what happened in the moments leading up to her death.
Confirming the development, FCT Police spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, said detectives have already commenced discreet investigations to uncover the facts and circumstances surrounding the incident.

The tragic case comes shortly after another disturbing incident — the killing of a nurse from the Federal Medical Centre, Jabi, sparking renewed concerns about safety within the FCT.
