Social media personality Martins Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman, and comedian Freedom Atsepoyi, aka Mr Jollof, may be facing trouble with the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) after a viral video captured the duo trading punches mid-flight on Monday morning.
VDM and Jollof previously clashed on social media after the critic accused the comedian’s wife of being involved with Yahoo boys, a claim that fuelled their long-running feud.
However, after their altercation escalated into a physical fight aboard a flight, the NCAA’s Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Michael Achimugu, took to X to request full details of the incident.
Achimugu referenced one of the circulating clips, urging the public to disclose the airline involved and the exact date of the in-flight incident to aid ongoing investigations.
Meanwhile, authorities warn that VDM and Jollof risk serious sanctions — including hefty fines or even flight bans — if they are ultimately found culpable.
