Nollywood actor Ibrahim Suleiman has revealed how a journalist gave him and his wife, actress Linda Ejiofor, 24 hours to publicly announce their marriage or risk having the news published without their consent.
Suleiman made the revelation during an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, where he recounted how the couple secretly tied the knot in 2018, a week before their wedding announcement.
According to the actor, neither he nor his wife initially planned to make their marriage public. However, their decision changed after a journalist contacted them, claiming to have confirmed the marriage through his sources.
The journalist reportedly informed them that he would give them 24 hours to make an official announcement before his team published the story.

Suleiman explained that after receiving the call, Linda suggested that they take control of their own narrative by announcing the marriage themselves.
He added that his father-in-law also supported the decision, observing that their friends and inner circle had worked hard to keep the wedding private and that it was time to make it public.
Speaking about their relationship, the actor described Linda as someone he believes would be willing to sacrifice everything for him.
He also opened up about his childhood, revealing that one of his greatest fears was growing up to become like his father, who abandoned him at a young age.
