FIFA has announced that memorabilia from the 2026 World Cup, including the official match ball used in the final and costumes worn during the tournament’s halftime show, will be auctioned to raise funds for children’s education worldwide.
The online auction, organised by Christie’s, will begin on July 22 and run for one week. Proceeds will support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, an initiative seeking to raise $100 million to expand access to education for children across the globe.
Among the standout items are costumes worn during the first-ever FIFA World Cup final halftime show, which featured performances from global music stars. Fans will also be able to bid on outfits connected to the tournament’s official song.

The collection also features signed jerseys, including an Argentina shirt autographed by Lionel Messi and a United States men’s national team jersey signed by its players.
FIFA said the auction is designed to give football supporters the opportunity to own unique pieces of World Cup history while helping to fund education programmes for children around the world.
