
A tragic incident has claimed the life of a 16-year-old boy, identified simply as Amir, after he was allegedly stabbed by a fellow teenager during a disagreement in the Gama area of Nassarawa Local Government Area of Kano State.
The incident reportedly occurred on Thursday night when an argument between the two youths escalated into violence. During the altercation, the suspect allegedly stabbed Amir in the neck, leaving him with fatal injuries.

Amir, who worked as a tailor, was described by residents as a well-behaved and hardworking young man with a good reputation in the community. His death has left family members, friends and neighbours in mourning.
He was buried on Friday in accordance with Islamic rites, with many residents attending the funeral to pay their last respects.
As of the time of filing this report, the Kano State Police Command had not issued an official statement on the incident, and it was unclear whether any arrest had been made.
