
Hollywood actress Daveigh Chase, best known as the voice of Lilo in Disney’s animated classic Lilo & Stitch, has died at the age of 35.
Her manager, John Ryan Jr., confirmed the news of her demise. According to Ryan, Chase was admitted to a Los Angeles hospital on Wednesday due to malnutrition.
Her condition worsened after she was diagnosed with meningitis and severe bloodstream infections, leading to her death from sepsis.

“She was the greatest. She loved cats. She worked with cat rescues with us. She was very to herself,” Ryan said. “She was not very Hollywood. She’d rather eat at Bob’s Big Boy and go home with the cats. She loved acting but wasn’t into the fame scene.”
Born on July 24, 1990, Chase began acting at age 4 and landed her first Hollywood role at 7. She gained wide recognition for voicing Lilo in Lilo & Stitch and its franchise, winning an Annie Award for the role in 2003. She also appeared in the horror film The Ring. Chase retired from full-time acting in 2015.
Chase’s death marks the loss of a talent remembered by fans for bringing one of Disney’s most beloved characters to life.
