Police in Adamawa State have arrested a 48-year-old man for allegedly luring and sexually assaulting a 13-year-old housegirl in Yola South.
According to the Adamawa State Police Command, the suspect, Adamu Mohammed, who lives alone in Yolde Pate, lured the girl into his apartment and spent the night assaulting her.

The command’s spokesman, SP Suleiman Nguroje, said the girl had earlier been declared missing by her employer after intensive searches failed to locate her.
Nguroje confirmed that Mohammed will face prosecution once investigations are concluded.
