Brazilian legend Cafu has left Cristiano Ronaldo out of his list of football’s four greatest players of all time.
Speaking to Spanish newspaper El Mundo after watching Lionel Messi score a hat-trick in Argentina’s 3-0 World Cup win over Algeria, Cafu named Messi, Diego Maradona, Pele and Ronaldinho as the sport’s standout icons.
“Maradona is the embodiment of football art, as are Messi, Pele, and Ronaldinho. So, when I see those unique and brilliant players, I really enjoy it,” the former defender said.
