
The Nigerian Army has reportedly arrested a social media personality known as “Sule Yellow,” who has gained popularity on TikTok amid allegations linking him to banditry activities.
According to reports, the suspect was apprehended by troops during an operation while allegedly returning to a forest hideout after collecting ransom from the relatives of a kidnapping victim.
Sule Yellow became widely known on social media through videos in which he allegedly displayed large sums of cash and showcased a lavish lifestyle. His online presence attracted significant attention, with many users questioning the source of his wealth.

Security sources claim investigators are examining allegations that some of the money displayed in the videos may have originated from ransom payments linked to kidnapping operations. However, authorities have not publicly released evidence to support the claims.
A video said to show the suspect in military custody has since circulated online, drawing reactions from Nigerians and reigniting discussions about the use of social media by individuals suspected of involvement in criminal activities.
