Record producer and musician Osabuohien Osaretin, popularly known as Sarz, has revealed that excessive ego once made him avoid working with many of his colleagues in the music industry.
In a candid interview with The Fadar, the ‘Back Outside’ crooner admitted he was “very hot-headed” when he started making music. He said he believed he was the best in the industry and often looked down on other artistes.
The 37-year-old explained that over time, he realized he didn’t know it all. That shift in mindset, he said, made him open to collaborating with and learning from anyone, including new artistes just starting out.

“When I started making music, I was very hot-headed. I really wanted to impress everybody. I just thought I was the best thing to exist in music,” Sarz said.
“But now I understand that I don’t know it all. I’m always willing to learn from anyone—even someone that just started yesterday,” he added.
