
QShelter Limited has successfully hosted its inaugural fitness and lifestyle event, the 2004 M00VE Experience, rewarding outstanding participants in the marathon segment with cash prizes.
The event took place on April 25 at the 2004 Estate along the Monastery axis of the Lagos Coastal Road and featured a series of fitness and recreational activities aimed at promoting wellness and community engagement.
Marathon winners Fadekemi Erinle, Gang James, Gyang Sunday, and Aminat Alabi emerged top performers across the 5-kilometre and 22-kilometre race categories, earning prizes for their efforts.
Organised in partnership with The Fitness Religion Company, the event also included aerobics sessions, dance workouts, a fun race, a five-a-side football match, and strength-based competitions.
Participants from different parts of the country took part in the activities.
Chairman of QShelter Limited, Kola Sowande, said the initiative was designed to raise awareness about the 2004 Estate project while also contributing to efforts aimed at addressing Nigeria’s housing deficit.

He added that the event would become an annual programme combining fitness, lifestyle, and real estate engagement.
Chief Operating Officer Gbenga Alamu noted that the idea was inspired by the existing fitness culture within the community, adding that the event was created to expand it into a larger platform that promotes healthy living and social connection.
Nollywood actor Tobi Bakre, who participated in the event, praised the initiative, describing it as a positive way to unite people through fitness activities suitable for different age groups and fitness levels.
Female 22-kilometre winner Fadekemi Erinle also commended the organisers, saying the event contributed meaningfully to sports development and encouraged wider participation in athletics.
The 2004 Estate, developed in partnership with Continental Civil General Construction Limited, is located about 23 minutes from Victoria Island via the Lagos Coastal Road.
It features modern infrastructure including internal roads, a shopping mall, security systems, solar and hybrid power solutions, and recreational facilities, with flexible payment options available through mortgage schemes.
