Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has highlighted the key strength of Arsenal as they prepare for their UEFA Champions League semi-final first-leg clash against Atletico Madrid on Wednesday.
Speaking in an interview with CBS Sports, Henry explained that while Arsenal may not dominate games with high creativity in open play, their organisation, discipline, and effectiveness from set-pieces make them a dangerous side under manager Mikel Arteta.
“Arsenal play a certain way. Mikel Arteta has his philosophy they are strong on set-pieces, solid defensively, even if they don’t create a lot,” Henry said.
He added that the most important thing for him is a positive result at home in the first leg.

“I would just like to see a win against Atletico Madrid. That will do for me and bring something to the Emirates,” he said.
Both teams reached the semi-final stage after impressive quarter-final victories. Arsenal eliminated Sporting CP, while Atletico Madrid advanced after defeating Barcelona.
The encounter is expected to be tightly contested, with Atletico known for their defensive structure under Diego Simeone, making set-pieces and fine margins potentially decisive in the tie.
