The military also thwarted two kidnapping attempts in Benue. In Katsina-Ala Local Government Area, a rapid response at Mbakange forced kidnappers to flee, abandoning one victim who was later handed over to police. Two other victims were freed in the Agidi area of Konshisha Local Government Area.
The Nigerian Army said the operations are part of ongoing efforts to dismantle criminal networks and improve security across the federation.
