Popular Nigerian singer, Asa, has announced the death of her mother following a battle with a brain tumour.
The award-winning artiste shared the sad news on Tuesday through her official Instagram page, expressing deep pain over the loss.
According to her, the illness came suddenly and claimed the life of her mother within a short period.
In her emotional message, Asa described her late mother as her “biggest fan” and a woman known for her kindness and generosity.
She lamented that the brain tumour struck without warning, leaving her family devastated.
