
A 200-level Law student of Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU), Kogi State, Musa Amira Ojochegbe, has died following a road accident.
Ojochegbe reportedly died on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, in an accident that left the university community mourning the loss of the young student.
The deceased was a member of the 26LA class in the Faculty of Law.
Reacting to the incident, the Law Students’ Association of Nigeria (LAWSAN), PAAU Chapter, described her death as a painful loss to the university community, particularly her family, friends and classmates.

In a condolence message, the association expressed sadness over the death of the student, describing her as a young, bright and promising individual whose passing would be deeply felt.
“The loss of a young, bright, and promising student is one that words can hardly express,” the association said.
LAWSAN extended its condolences to Ojochegbe’s family, friends, classmates and members of the 26LA class, while praying for strength and comfort for everyone affected by the tragedy.
The association also prayed for the peaceful repose of her soul.
The incident has left students and members of the university community grieving as they mourn the loss of the young Law student.
“May her soul rest in perfect peace,” LAWSAN said.
