
Troops of the Nigerian Army have rescued two children during a search-and-rescue operation in Madagali Local Government Area of Adamawa State, following a reported abduction in the Korpallama area.
The operation began around 4:32 a.m. on Sunday after troops received a distress call, security analyst Zagazola Makama posted on X, citing security sources.
Soldiers from B Company, 144 Battalion in Gulak carried out the mission alongside members of the Civilian Joint Task Force.

Two victims, Barnabas Apagu, 12, and Ruth Apagu, 10, were freed during the operation.
Two others: Rahila Apagu, 21, and Ijandri Apagu, 19 remain missing. Security sources said efforts to locate them are ongoing and operations in the area have been intensified.
