The incident, which occurred over the weekend in the Itunmeko area, was said to have started as a disagreement among youths in the community.
The situation quickly escalated into a confrontation believed to involve rival cult groups.
Sources within the community disclosed that Quadri was called from his residence by friends to help settle the dispute.

However, upon his arrival, the clash intensified, and he was allegedly attacked by a group of youths who beat him severely.
Witnesses said the victim was left critically injured at the scene before concerned residents rushed him to a hospital.
Despite efforts to save his life, he later died from the injuries sustained during the attack.
Another individual, identified as Adio, was also reportedly assaulted during the incident but survived with injuries.
Local reports suggest that although Quadri had acquaintances within the area, he was not a member of any cult group.
The attack has been linked to ongoing tensions and clashes among suspected cult factions in the community.
Authorities are yet to release an official statement on the incident, but sources indicate that some suspects have been arrested in connection with the killing.
The Lagos State Police Command is expected to provide further updates as investigations progress.
Residents have expressed concern over the growing wave of violence and are calling on security agencies to intensify efforts to curb cult-related activities and restore peace in the area.
