Members of the Ekpeye Freedom Fighters, an armed group in Rivers State, have appealed to the founder of Omega Power Ministries (OPM), Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, to help them abandon their activities and return to normal life.
In a viral video, members of the group were seen raising their hands while appealing to the Port Harcourt-based pastor to assist them in leaving the creeks.
The armed men said they were tired of living in the bush, fighting and hiding from security operatives. They expressed their willingness to embrace amnesty and rehabilitation.
One of the group’s leaders said they trust Apostle Chibuzor because of his previous efforts in helping repentant cultists, militants and former prisoners.
