The Nigerian Police Force has declared a United Kingdom-based Nigerian blogger, Dorcas Adeyinka, wanted over allegations including cyberstalking, abduction, murder, threats to life, extortion and injurious falsehood.
The police declaration was reportedly issued on Sunday on the directive of the Inspector-General of Police and published on the Nigeria Police Force’s official Facebook page.
According to the wanted notice, Adeyinka is a Nigerian woman of Yoruba ethnicity, approximately 1.64 metres tall, with an oval-shaped face, pointed nose and distinctive tribal marks. The bulletin also described her as having black hair, a relatively large head and a prominent chin.
The police identified her last known address as 833 Woolwich Road in the United Kingdom.
However, the authorities said she may also be found in parts of Lagos and Ogun states, including Ikeja, Ogudu, Fagba, Ota and Sango.
The police appealed to members of the public with information about Adeyinka’s whereabouts to contact the authorities.

“Information leading to her arrest will be highly appreciated,” the police said in the notice, while indicating that a reward would be given to anyone whose information leads to her arrest.
The Inspector-General of Police Monitoring Unit was listed as the point of contact for members of the public who may have relevant information.
The allegations against Adeyinka remain allegations, and she is presumed innocent unless proven guilty by a competent court.
