The Osun State Police Command has arrested two men in connection with a burglary in which valuables worth about ₦3 million were reportedly stolen from a residence.
The suspects, identified as 27-year-old Eyelade Anuoluwa and 28-year-old Abdullah Musa, were arrested following an intelligence-led investigation by police operatives.
According to the police, the burglary occurred on July 26, 2026. Items allegedly stolen during the incident included two laptops, an iPhone 12, an Android phone, two power banks and recharge cards, with the total value estimated at ₦3 million.
Anuoluwa was first arrested in Ibadan, Oyo State, by operatives attached to the Ilesa Area Command. He was subsequently transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation.
The police said further interrogation led to the suspect disclosing that some of the stolen items had been transferred to a receiver in Ibadan.

Acting on the information, SCID operatives arrested Musa, who allegedly admitted receiving stolen property. Police said he also confessed to purchasing the stolen iPhone 12 from Anuoluwa for ₦25,000.
Several items were recovered during the investigation, including an HP laptop, a Dell laptop, a Samsung phone, two power banks, an Apple iPad, a mini DP charger and a scrap phone.
The Commissioner of Police in Osun State, CP Ibrahim Zungura, commended the officers involved in the operation and described their efforts as an example of effective intelligence-led policing.
The police said investigations are ongoing to determine the full extent of the suspects’ activities, identify other individuals allegedly connected to the syndicate and recover more stolen property.
The suspects are expected to be charged to court after the conclusion of investigations.
