The Oyo State Police Command has arrested an Indian national and two security operatives following the alleged assault of two truck drivers at Karma Agric Feeds and Foods Limited along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in Ibadan.
The arrests followed the circulation of a viral video showing the alleged assault, prompting the police to launch an investigation into the incident.
The suspects were identified as Harjit Singh, a 46-year-old Indian national associated with the company, and two security operatives, Olowu Oluwadamilare and Sodeke Olamide.
According to the police, the incident reportedly began with a disagreement over a designated parking space after a truck delivered goods to the company. The driver allegedly objected to the parking spot over concerns that it could damage the truck’s tyres. One of the tyres subsequently burst.

The dispute reportedly escalated when the driver requested a replacement tyre, which the company allegedly declined to provide. The driver then used his truck to block the company’s entrance, leading to a physical confrontation involving the drivers, security operatives and the Indian national.
The two victims, identified as Ridwan Olajide, 34, and Taiwo Yinusa, 37, were taken to a hospital in Ibadan for medical treatment.
The police said the case had been transferred to the Special Enquiry Bureau in Eleyele, Ibadan, for further investigation to determine the roles and culpability of everyone involved.
The command reiterated its commitment to ensuring that the law applies equally to individuals and organisations, adding that investigations were ongoing.
