
Mahmoud Adam, a suspected terrorist allegedly linked to attacks on Christians in Nigeria, has reportedly been arrested in Plateau State.
According to reports, Adam, who resides in Plateau State, was allegedly the secret leader of the Fulani Ethnic Militia, FEM.
A former US intelligence officer with expertise in Islamist terrorism reportedly confirmed Adam’s arrest.
The operation leading to his arrest was reportedly carried out on September 12 at his compound in Plateau State, where he was serving as a prominent Fulani community leader.

It was also alleged that photographs provided by a whistleblower showed Adam meeting Nigerian military leaders and receiving high-value gifts from them.
The report further claimed that a serving senator had previously intervened to secure his release from custody.
The allegations have not been independently established beyond the sources cited, while Adam’s reported arrest is now receiving wider attention.
