
A wave of grief and outrage has swept across social media following the resurfacing of an old interview featuring Favour Agbro, a 20-year-old woman who allegedly died after being raped by a Delta-based content creator.
In the viral clip recorded in Asaba, the young woman spoke openly about her personal values, revealing her decision to remain a virgin until marriage.
She stated that she had no boyfriend at the time and expressed her desire for a partner who would respect her commitment to abstinence.
“I’m looking for a boyfriend, but it’s not really easy. It will be someone that is ready to wait till marriage,” she said during the interview.

The video re-emerged shortly after the Delta State Police Command confirmed the arrest of a content creator, identified as Ifeanyi Ogbonna, popularly known as “Odogwu of Asaba,” over allegations of rape and assault.
According to police reports, the suspect allegedly lured the victim to Asaba under the pretense of offering content creation training. She was reportedly taken to a hotel, where the assault
occurred.
Authorities disclosed that the victim later shared her traumatic experience in a recorded statement before her death. The case has since sparked widespread condemnation, with many Nigerians demanding justice and stronger protection for young women.
The police have assured the public that a thorough investigation is ongoing and that justice will be served.
