A mechanic identified as Mr. Wole has reportedly been taken into police custody after allegedly beating his wife, Rofiat Okewole, to death in Sango-Ota, Ogun State.
According to reports, Rofiat allegedly caught her husband with another woman, leading to a heated confrontation between the couple.

During the confrontation, Wole reportedly assaulted his wife and repeatedly slammed her head against a concrete wall. She allegedly sustained serious injuries and later died.
The Ogun State Police Command is said to have commenced an investigation into the incident, while Rofiat’s body was reportedly deposited at a morgue for autopsy.
The circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation, and the allegations against Wole have not been established in court.
