
Brazil star Neymar has named Spain as the team he wants to face in the 2026 World Cup final, snubbing both Lionel Messi’s Argentina and Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal.
Speaking during a Q&A on Puma Football’s social media platform, Neymar gave a straightforward answer when asked about his preferred final matchup: “Spain. Brazil-Spain.”
The Santos forward returned to Brazil’s squad for the tournament after more than two years out with an ACL injury suffered in October 2023.

He missed the first two group-stage games due to another injury but rejoined training last week. Neymar could feature when Brazil take on Scotland on June 24 in their final group match.

Messi has been in top form for Argentina, scoring five goals in two matches and becoming the World Cup’s all-time leading scorer with 18 goals. Portugal, who drew their opener, face Uzbekistan on June 23 as they look to build momentum.
