Meanwhile, the NDLEA has called for stronger community collaboration in the fight against drug abuse and illicit trafficking in Ogun State.
The agency made the call during the commissioning of a new NDLEA office at Olorunda in Abeokuta North Local Council, donated by the Orunda of Olorunda, Oba Joshua Phillips-Ogunsola.
The NDLEA State Commander, Tijjani Rabe, said community support and timely information sharing were essential to tackling drug-related crimes, stressing that the agency could not win the battle against illicit drugs alone.
He urged government agencies, security organisations, traditional institutions, community leaders and residents to work together to curb drug abuse and trafficking.
