Ousmane Dembele says he remains calm as he prepares for the race to win a second consecutive Ballon d’Or.
The Paris Saint-Germain forward won the 2025 award after leading PSG to Champions League glory and remains one of the favorites for the 2026 edition. Speaking to beIN Sports, Dembele insisted that team success matters more than individual prizes.
“Very calm, as I said, individual trophies come later, if they come, if they don’t, that is how it is,” he said.

“The most important thing is the team titles, we won Ligue 1, the Super Cup, and the Intercontinental Cup. On May 30th, we have something great for all PSG fans.”
Dembele has been central to PSG’s dominance this season and will hope to add another major trophy on May 30 to strengthen his case for back-to-back Ballon d’Or wins.
