Nollywood actress and filmmaker Mercy Johnson has shared an inspiring message on faith, resilience, and divine restoration, emphasizing that God’s plans cannot be hindered by human opinions, criticism, or rejection.
In a lengthy post shared on Instagram, the actress stated that God does not judge people the way humans do and is never influenced by public mockery or societal perceptions.
According to Johnson, what people reject, God can restore, and what others condemn, He can redeem. She noted that while individuals may shut doors, God has the power to create opportunities where none seem to exist.
She stressed that God’s mercy extends beyond human understanding and that His blessings are not dependent on anyone’s approval.
Describing God as the author of second chances, fresh beginnings, and unexpected favour, Johnson said He elevates whom He chooses and writes life stories that often leave doubters amazed.
The actress further explained that genuine peace comes from placing one’s confidence in God rather than seeking validation from others. She noted that one of life’s greatest freedoms is reaching a point where one no longer feels the need to be understood, admired, pitied, or liked by everyone.
