Residents of several communities in Oyo State have been left stranded after heavy rainfall washed away a bridge linking Osupa Orile and Ajaawa communities in Ogo Oluwa Local Government Area.
The bridge, which serves as a major access route for residents, traders, and farmers, was destroyed by flooding following persistent rainfall, cutting off movement between the affected communities and nearby settlements.
The incident has disrupted commercial and farming activities, with many residents unable to transport goods or travel for their daily businesses.

They also called for improved flood control measures and stronger infrastructure to help prevent similar incidents during future rainy seasons.
