
Panic broke out in Osogbo, Osun State, on Sunday after a fire gutted a building at the Old Garage area, close to two petrol stations.
Videos from the scene showed firefighters battling the blaze as thick smoke billowed from the scene. Emergency responders were on ground working to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to nearby structures.
The Osun State Command of the Federal Fire Service confirmed the incident when contacted. An official said the fire investigative department was already at the location.

The Old Garage area is a busy commercial hub in Osogbo, making the proximity to petrol stations a major concern for residents and traders who gathered at the scene.
