Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Dorathy Bachor, has urged social media users to stay out of her private life amid growing speculation about her rumoured engagement to comedian Broda Shaggi.
The speculation began after Dorathy shared a picture of a gold ring, asking women whether their partners could afford a similar piece of jewellery worth £150,000.
The post, alongside a romantic video featuring the reality TV star and the comedian, sparked rumours that Broda Shaggi might have proposed to her.
However, reacting to the growing public attention, Dorathy expressed frustration over what she described as people’s excessive interest in her personal affairs.
“For someone who minds her business, you people really love to poke me. Leave me alone,” she stated.

Dorathy and Broda Shaggi have previously fuelled dating rumours through affectionate social media posts.
In March 2026, the comedian shared romantic pictures with the reality TV star, describing her as his “missing rib” and expressing his desire to spend forever with her.
Broda Shaggi also publicly appreciated Dorathy for standing by him following a gunshot incident he survived.
Despite the growing speculation, neither the ring display nor the romantic posts have confirmed that an engagement has taken place.
