A Benue man, Levi Aondohemba Orhii, has publicly announced the end of his relationship with his second wife after alleging that she went on to marry another man.
Orhii said he traditionally married the woman, formerly known as Mrs. Maris Mngohol Orhii, in July 2014. According to him, their union was blessed with two daughters.
However, the man claimed that his former wife has now legally married another man in court and should henceforth be known by her new name.
In a statement shared on Facebook, Orhii said he respected her decision and wished her well in her new chapter of life.
He noted that despite their separation, they were making efforts to work together peacefully in the interest of their children.
