Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate, Whitney “Nomy” Chukwu, has been disqualified from the reality TV show for repeatedly failing to comply with Big Brother’s instructions.
Her disqualification was announced on Monday, September 7, during the live nominations, abruptly ending her stay in the Show Ya Sef house.
The latest violation stemmed from the Bench Warmer punishment imposed on Nomy after she finished last in a Head of House challenge. As part of the punishment, she was instructed to remain seated on a designated bench and wear an assigned vest.
However, Big Brother confronted the housemate after she left the designated bench and abandoned the vest, despite being clearly instructed to remain in place.
The incident came after a series of previous warnings concerning her conduct in the house. Nomy had earlier received a strike, which Big Brother described as her “last and final warning”, following repeated failure to obey house rules and instructions.

After reviewing her latest violation, Big Brother announced that Nomy’s privilege to continue participating in the competition had been withdrawn with immediate effect.
She was subsequently given 30 minutes to pack her belongings and leave the house.
Nomy becomes the first housemate to be disqualified on disciplinary grounds in the current season, ending her bid for the ₦160 million grand prize.
Following her exit, the remaining housemates will continue their battle for survival and a place in the grand finale.
