
A tragic incident has unfolded in Adamawa State following the death of a 22-year-old man, Daniel Samuel, who succumbed to injuries sustained from a stabbing attack.
The victim, a resident of Michika town, had reportedly visited the Divisional Police Headquarters in Michika on Sunday, April 12, with visible injuries and bloodstains on his body.
He alleged that two individuals, identified as Dakiyar Tumba (23) and Sini Luka (31), attacked him and stabbed him in the back with a knife.
According to a statement released by the Adamawa State Police Command through its Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Nguroje, police operatives acted swiftly upon receiving the report and rushed the victim to a medical facility.
Unfortunately, he was later confirmed dead.

The Command confirmed that the two suspects have been arrested in connection with the case, which is being treated as conspiracy and culpable homicide.
The weapon allegedly used in the attack has also been recovered and will serve as evidence in the investigation.
“The corpse has been deposited at the hospital morgue for autopsy,” the statement added.
Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police in the state, CP Kabir Umar Hassan, has condemned the incident and directed the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) to carry out a thorough investigation and ensure the suspects are prosecuted accordingly.
