Authorities in Niger State are searching for a man, Shalbal Yusuf of Matadangwoni Village, after a late-night confrontation led to the death of 30-year-old Lusha Alhaji Washa, widely known as Muyaye.
The incident occurred around half past midnight on Wednesday, following reports that Yusuf confronted his wife and Washa during an unexpected encounter. Local sources say the situation escalated rapidly, turning into a violent clash.
Washa was rushed to the General Hospital in Auna for urgent treatment but did not survive. His remains were kept at the facility for further examination.
Security operatives have since begun a manhunt for Yusuf, as investigators work to uncover the full details behind the deadly altercation.
