Reverend Ezekiel Dachomo, Regional Chairman of the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN), has appealed to the United States Government and international community to intervene following the killing of four more people near his church in Plateau State.
The cleric made the appeal in a post on X on Sunday, expressing frustration over repeated attacks and the loss of members of his congregation.
Dachomo said the latest killings happened days after he attended the burial of some members of his church who were killed in an earlier attack.
He lamented that he was tired of repeatedly burying members of his congregation and watching innocent families suffer from the violence.
According to him, four more people had been killed near his church, leaving four families in mourning.
The pastor also expressed fears for his safety, questioning whether he could become the next victim of the recurring attacks.
He said his responsibility as a shepherd was to protect, pray for and comfort his congregation, but the persistent killings had made his duties increasingly painful.
Dachomo called on residents of affected communities to stand together and fight for their survival, warning that continued attacks could leave more families devastated.

He specifically appealed to the US Government and American citizens to provide meaningful assistance to protect lives, strengthen security, support displaced persons and ensure that those responsible for the killings are brought to justice.
The cleric questioned how many more Nigerians would have to die before the international community took decisive action.
He also vowed to continue speaking out against the attacks and demanding justice for affected communities despite concerns about his personal safety.
However, Dachomo did not disclose the identities of the four people reportedly killed or provide details about when and how the latest attack occurred.
