Atletico Madrid are open to sending Julian Alvarez to Arsenal if it helps them land Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres.
Alvarez has already gone public with his desire to leave the Wanda Metropolitano this summer. According to COPE, Atletico are reluctant to sell the Argentine to Barcelona and would prefer to negotiate with clubs abroad.
The Spanish club are reportedly willing to accept a deal worth between €60m and €80m plus Gyokeres if Arsenal are interested in making the swap.

If Barcelona come calling, Atletico will point to Alvarez’s €500m release clause instead.
Arsenal’s interest in Gyokeres has been well documented, and using Alvarez as a bargaining chip could accelerate talks. Neither club has commented officially on the proposed deal.
