Benue Links Nigeria Limited has confirmed it successfully located the family of a passenger who died aboard one of its buses after initial efforts to reach relatives failed.
The transport company said the contact details provided by the passenger could not be reached despite several attempts. This prompted management to seek public assistance through social media to identify and inform the family.
Following the appeal, the family was found and notified. Benue Links facilitated the transportation of the body to Korinya, the deceased’s hometown, where it was deposited in a morgue. The company said it also paid all associated morgue fees pending burial arrangements to be made by the family.
