Veteran Nollywood actress Patience Ozokwor has described Children’s Day 2026 as a sad moment for Nigeria, following reports of mass child abductions in Oyo State.
Speaking on the occasion, Ozokwor questioned how children could become targets of kidnapping while many Nigerians remain silent.
She said the day should be a celebration, but the reality of insecurity has made it painful for families across the country.
