Siminalayi Fubara, Governor of Rivers State, has officially withdrawn from the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary in the state.
In a statement personally issued on Wednesday, Fubara said his decision was driven by his commitment to peace, unity, and the overall progress of Rivers State.
He stressed that his withdrawal should not be interpreted as an act of weakness, fear, or defeat, but rather a personal sacrifice aimed at preserving stability in the state.
