Nollywood actress Rachael Okonkwo has encouraged women to uphold strong morals and values, stressing that living a good life should go beyond the desire to get married.
In a message shared with her followers, the actress stated that many people often try to live rightly solely for the sake of marriage, noting that such motivation should not define a woman’s character.
According to her, women should embrace kindness, compassion, and integrity because of the impact they want to make, the peace they want to carry, and the legacy they hope to leave behind.

Okonkwo acknowledged that some people can be manipulative in relationships but maintained that partnership should never be the only reason for being a good person.
“Marriage is beautiful, but it shouldn’t be the only reason for becoming a better person,” she said.
The actress further urged women to be intentional, honorable, and caring so they can be remembered for lives well lived, adding in Igbo, “Ugwu bu nma Nwanyi,” meaning dignity is beautiful in a woman.
